WATER SYSTEM DESIGN BASED ON NEED, NOT THE WALLET.

The biggest mistake in water system design is going the cheapest route. We wouldn't put in a furnace to heat 1/2 of our house or put on 1/2 of the roof, yet the water system seems to be the first place the customer will try and shave off the most money.

In reality, the water system is one of (if not the most) important aspects in your house. At Murray Drilling Company, we design your water system based on two major factors: NEED AND LOCATION.

NEEDS
There are many elements to consider when sizing the system:

1.) Well Depth & Pumping Level
2.) Square Footage
3.) Distance & Elevation to House
4.) Current & Future Outdoor Plans
5.) Number of Bathrooms

6.) Number of Stories
7.) Number of People
8.) Livestock
9.) Number of Homes & all of the above for each

WE'RE POSITIVE WE WON'T BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE YOUR JOB THE FASTEST AND WE WILL NOT BE THE CHEAPEST BID YOU GET. WE ARE POSITIVE OF OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A QUALITY SYSTEM AT A FAIR PRICE.

Location

Well depths will vary greatly from one area to another. Because we live in such a dynamic landscape, depths can be quite different from block to block and in some cases lot to lot. Over 37 years of experience has given us a large database of information regarding well depths, static levels, well yields and formations. At MDC we spend a great deal of time researching the area before providing an estimated well depth. If you are in an area that can be difficult, this will be reflected on the estimate.

Sure, you can cut back on depth, install the smallest pumping equipment you can get away with and install cheap products, but in the long run, you really do get what you pay for. Not only will the system fail to meet your demands, premature equipment failures are almost guaranteed. The $1200 you save today may well cost three times that in replacement or upgrades in just a few years.

UNDER SIZING as well as OVER SIZING a system will cause the equipment to operate outside of the optimum performance curve, which in turn will cost more to operate and shorten the life of the equipment. Over sizing can also have undesirable effects on fragile formations. At MDC we give a great deal of thought to sizing each system based on the needs of the household.
